Open Minded People Exclusively (OMPE) is a menswear brand featuring designer quality T-shirts as its main product. OMPE is aimed at a young as well as mature hip urban market; people who do give a damn, get involved, and care about the most concerning issues of our time ,i.e.: the environment, sustainable development, global fair trade. Our customers are definitely willing to be smarter consumers. OMPE offers a product range entirely stitched with fair trade cotton, thus expressing the will to combine both high aesthetics and social ethics. OMPE is positioned as a mid to up-market brand with original eye-catching visual designs. OMPE is voluntarily aiming at beating out of the bush: shifting from a shabby/dreary/dull unisex image usually sticking to fair trade clothing to a positively active and militant use of the T-shirt. OMPE will then get the T-shirt back to the centre of the wardrobe as an essential element in men’s clothing.
MANUFACTURING
The OMPE collection is designed and distributed by OMPE from France (sketch, visual, quotation, distribution).The cotton used in the OMPE collection comes from Mali,Cameroon and Senegal cooperatives. The cotton spinning is based in Morocco, on a Flo-CERT certified site(see ww.4ompe.com)T-shirt manufacturing is made in Mauritius.
